The UAE Food Bank is an non-profit organisation, which distributes food to those in need. The organisation also aims to reduce food wastage across the emirate. The bank collaborates with charities, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets in the UAE to redistribute food.

Since the first UAE Food Bank launched earlier this year, 135,795 kg has been given to those in need.

The General Manager of Greenhouse, one of the organisations to partner with the UAE Food Bank, Daniel Chidiac said: “We are very proud and honored to be part of the UAE food bank initiative. This project is in line with the company’s mission to participate in sustainability and always bring the best to the community in which we live.”
