Home > The Critic > Coronavirus: Virtual conference to discuss hospitality post-COVID

A virtual conference is set to take place this week to discuss the unprecedented economic circumstances caused by COVID-19, and what the hospitality industry can do to collectively rebuild confidence.

Due to take place on Tuesday 7 April from 10am BST (1pm GST), registration for the conference is free of charge – although an optional donation is encouraged to selected charities helping out those in the hospitality industry during these challenging times.

The virtual conference is set to bring together leaders from the hotel, aviation and restaurant sector, to discuss how to survive the greatest adversity of our time, in addition to the essential leadership behaviours needed during businesses in crisis, and what the new post-COVID reality will look like.

Organised by Bench Events, the line-up of speakers includes Paul Stoltz, a leading expert and consultant on resilience and creator of the Adversity Quotient; Roger Bootle, the award-winning Founder and Chairman of Capital Economics; Hon. Minister Najib Balala, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, Kenya, and Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association.

State of the art video conferencing technology will be used to bring virtual main-stage panel sessions to an audience of online participants. More information about the agenda, speakers and how to register can be found at www.HospitalityTomorrow.com.
