Chef Vineet Bhatia is set to open Indya By Vineet in Dubai this Tuesday (22nd January).

Vineet Bhatia – the first Indian chef to receive a globally acclaimed Michelin star, has selected Le Royal Meridien as the home for his latest project in Dubai. His exciting new venture takes a contemporary approach to all-time favourite Indian street staples in a vibrant, colourful and eclectic backdrop inspired by the culture, spirit and vitality of the motherland.

Indya by Vineet, which was originally set to open its doors in November, is said to bring a “whole new meaning to Indian food.” The licensed 90-seater restaurant will boast an outdoor terrace as well as a bar where guests can enjoy signature cocktails and beverages.

Dishes start at AED 40 and the menu will be grouped in four sections – from the earth, from the land, from the sea and from the Halwai (sweets), so no starter, main and pudding format. Signature dishes will include charcoal amritsari fish pakoda with turmeric raita and the daulat aunty’s mutton dhansak, with parsi brown rice.
