The Vignette Collection expands with the addition of Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort in the UAE (162 rooms) and Vignette Collection in Kuwait City (194 rooms), joining the exclusive group of luxury and lifestyle hotels

IHG Hotels and Resorts, a prominent hotel company operating over 6,000 hotels across 18 diverse brands, has unveiled its franchise agreements with Aqarat’s subsidiaries, a global hotel owner, for the establishment of two new Vignette Collection hotels in the Middle East this summer. These hotels will be managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM), a leading luxury hotel operator.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are thrilled to announce the signing of two remarkable Vignette Collection hotels in Dubai and Kuwait as we continue to expand our luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the region. The partnership with Aqarat and the opening of these hotels marks an important milestone for IHG Hotels & Resorts, as we cater to the growing number of guests who seek luxury experiences that differ from conventional hotel and resort offerings.”

Vignette Collection marks IHG Hotels & Resorts’ inaugural collection brand and the most recent inclusion in its rapidly expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio, which currently stands among the world’s largest, boasting over 450 operational hotels and more than 100,000 rooms. This new addition joins IHG’s remarkable collection of luxury and lifestyle brands, such as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, Regent Hotels & Resorts, and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.

Since its introduction in December 2021, the Vignette Collection has expanded to encompass six unique properties in various locations such as Australia, Thailand, Portugal, and Washington DC. Furthermore, the brand currently has a promising pipeline of 15 properties, and it anticipates an impressive growth projection of over 100 additional properties worldwide over the next decade.
