The achievement represents a significant milestone in the expansion of The First Group Hotels portfolio and underscores the ongoing success of its homegrown hotel brand, The First Collection.
Nestled along the Canal Boardwalk in Business Bay, this new property will join the collection as its third instalment and is set to welcome guests in Q4 2023. Under the umbrella of The First Collection brand, two well-established hotels already exist – The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle and The First Collection Business Bay. Together, these hotels collectively host around 850,000 guests annually, hailing from various countries, including KSA, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UK, Russia, France, USA, and Italy.
Notably, in 2022, The First Collection hotels achieved an impressive feat, being the only Dubai establishments to be recognized among the world’s finest hotels by Trip Advisor. Strategically positioned in the heart of Business Bay, The First Collection Waterfront will provide guests with easy access to the bustling business district during the day and the vibrant tourist attractions in the evening.
The First Collection Waterfront will feature a total of 327 rooms and suites. Its rooftop pool will offer sweeping panoramic views of Dubai’s iconic landmarks, including the renowned Burj Khalifa and the picturesque Dubai Canal. To further enhance the guest experience, the hotel will offer a spa and a state-of-the-art gym for relaxation and fitness.
Culinary delights will be diverse, with options ranging from a local all-day dining venue to an Asian specialty restaurant, as well as The First Group’s own homegrown brand – Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery.
To ensure convenience for its guests, The First Collection Waterfront will offer complimentary transfers to The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates. Additionally, guests will have exclusive access to the serene Soluna Beach Club, providing an oasis of tranquility amid the bustling cityscape.
