Fundamental Hospitality has reported record-breaking results in the first four months of the year, with more than 1.025 million visitors across its international venues. The homegrown hospitality group—behind concepts such as GAIA, Shanghai Me, and Sirene by GAIA—continues to ride the wave of Dubai’s 17% tourism growth, reinforcing its status as a global leader in premium dining and lifestyle experiences.
Leading the surge is Sirene by GAIA, the lifestyle beach club at J1 Beach, which has attracted 210,000 guests since opening in January. The venue averages 1,750 guests daily and has maintained waitlists exceeding 3,000 people on weekends, drawing notable names such as HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Jennifer Lopez, and Roger Federer. Sirene’s blend of fine dining, beach lounging, and sunset socialising has redefined the luxury beach club model.
The brand’s newly launched INA, a modern Mediterranean concept, has also made waves since opening in April, quickly becoming a culinary destination for locals and tourists alike.
“Sirene by GAIA has elevated beach-club culture globally, while every one of our concepts—from fine dining to casual eateries—has exceeded expectations,” said Evgeny Kuzin, Chairman of Fundamental Hospitality. “This momentum reinforces our commitment to create dynamic, ‘Made-in-Dubai’ experiences that resonate worldwide.”
Fuelled by Dubai’s 17% year-on-year increase in international visitors (DTCM), Fundamental Hospitality’s performance reflects the rising demand for unique, experience-driven culinary destinations. Looking ahead, the group is set to open new venues in London, Miami, Monaco, Riyadh, and Doha, furthering its vision to export regionally rooted, globally relevant concepts.
