SLS Dubai introduces Chef Jarvis Dong as the hotel’s esteemed Executive Chef, poised to enhance the dining experience
With a background encompassing over 16 years in the culinary realm, Chef Jarvis has honed his expertise at prestigious properties in the Middle East and Asia. His journey began as a Commis Chef at Madinat Jumeirah, followed by key roles at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Hangzhou and Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Sanya, China. Chef Jarvis has held senior culinary positions at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Riyadh and Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah.
In his previous role as Executive Chef at Six Senses Qingcheng Mountain Hotel in Chengdu, China, Chef Jarvis spearheaded six culinary divisions, banquets, and catering. His global culinary expedition across diverse cuisines has allowed him to cultivate a dynamic culinary style while adeptly managing dedicated teams.
As SLS Dubai’s Executive Chef, Chef Jarvis will oversee culinary operations at acclaimed outlets like the newly renovated Carna by Dario Cecchini, Smoke & Mirrors, and upcoming ventures slated to open early next year.
