IHG Hotels & Resorts, a prominent global hospitality company, has partnered with Refad Real Estate Investment & Development, a subsidiary of Abdulhadi AlQahtani Sons Group Company, to introduce Hotel Indigo & Residences Al Khobar to Saudi Arabia by September 2027. This collaboration, facilitated by TDF, underscores IHG’s dedication to fostering partnerships for the Kingdom’s hospitality and tourism sectors’ sustainability.
Situated within the Refad project, envisioned as the premier mixed-use lifestyle destination in the Eastern Province, Hotel Indigo & Residences Al Khobar will offer over 200 hotel rooms and serviced apartments in the lively corniche district of Al Khobar.

Hotel Indigo & Residence will offer two dining options, the Neighborhood Café and Lobby Lounge, along with an Executive Lounge, providing guests with a diverse culinary experience. For business travelers, the hotel will feature state-of-the-art meeting facilities spanning 290 square meters across five meeting rooms and a ballroom. Additionally, guests will have access to recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, and spa, ensuring a rejuvenating stay experience.
IHG currently operates 43 hotels across 6 brands in Saudi Arabia, including Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, voco, and Staybridge Suites, with a strong pipeline of 32 hotels set to open in the next 2-5 years.
