Homegrown African-inspired Catfish is here to take us on a culinary journey of traditional African cuisine

Catfish Vegan Jollof rice

After a short break in 2020, this food truck and wellness kitchen is back and ready to dish out all the crowd favourites.

Build up an appetite for the Dancing Waist (Hot honey chicken, jollof rice, plantain, tomato and salad); Hunter’s Trap (Pulled peanut beef, jollof rice, plantain, smashed avocado, mango slaw and sauteed amaranth greens); Talking Drum (Glazed salmon, jollof rice, plantain, suya butter corn and sautéed amaranth greens); and Wrestler’s Choice (Tofu or mushrooms, jollof rice, plantain, smashed avocado, mango slaw and salad).

Catfish bowls are packed with organic vegetables, lean protein, carbs and healthy fats, so you can indulge guilt-free. Their menu is also gluten, GMO and refined-sugar free.

If you’re eco-conscious, you will be glad to know that all their packaging is plastic free, with 100% biodegradable bowls made from sugarcane.

Visit their food truck at Ripe Market in Academy Park, or order online.
