IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new Vignette Collection property that is set to become the tallest all-hotel tower globally when it opens in Dubai next year.

The development, named Ciel, Vignette Collection, aims to offer an unparalleled lifestyle experience in Dubai Marina. Ciel is owned by The First Group and managed by The First Group Hospitality. This impressive multistorey high-rise hotel will boast over 80 floors and is already well underway, with construction rapidly progressing and the building topped out. Upon completion, the award-winning property will feature 1,000 rooms and suites, three restaurants, Dubai’s highest infinity pool, a fitness centre, a spa, a club lounge, and an observation bar with stunning views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and the Dubai skyline.

The Vignette Collection consists of a unique selection of hotels that cater to guests seeking diverse and memorable experiences. This brand allows independent hotels to maintain their distinctive identity while leveraging IHG’s global reach and expertise in luxury and lifestyle hospitality.

Founded in 2005, The First Group has built a diverse portfolio that includes award-winning hotels, residences, and vibrant dining venues. Ciel represents their largest and most complex project to date, having already garnered seven prestigious awards, including accolades for Best International Hotel Architecture and Best High-Rise Architecture in Arabia.

Currently, IHG operates 117 hotels across nine brands in the Middle East, including InterContinental, Vignette Collection, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Hotel Indigo, voco, and Six Senses, with an additional 83 hotels in the pipeline.
