This month, Nammos Resort AMAALA officially welcomes its first guests, marking the brand’s move into destination resorts

Set on the coastline of Triple Bay within AMAALA, the resort brings together hospitality, dining, wellbeing and design. More than 20 years after Nammos helped establish the Mykonos beach club scene, the new resort extends the brand into a full destination experience.

Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said: “Today is much more than the opening of a hotel. It is the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Nammos. We have taken everything people know and love about the brand – its sense of occasion, exceptional hospitality, unforgettable dining and unmistakable energy – and reimagined it as a complete resort experience. There is nowhere else in the world where Nammos could have made this leap quite like AMAALA, and we are incredibly proud to welcome our very first guests.”

“Nammos Resort AMAALA strengthens the diversity of experiences available across the destination, bringing the unmistakable energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast. As AMAALA continues to expand with each new opening, the addition of Nammos reinforces our ambition to establish one of the world’s leading luxury lifestyle and wellness destinations,” said Group CEO John Pagano.

The resort has 110 rooms, suites and villas, plus 20 Nammos Residences. Interiors combine contemporary Saudi influences with Cycladic-inspired design, using natural materials, expansive terraces and Red Sea views.

The resort’s Nammos Restaurant sits on a private island reached by boardwalk and jetty, with an infinity pool, cabanas and sea views. Nalu Restaurant serves Latin American cuisine with Asian influences, while Ilios Restaurant and Ilios Lounge focus on Mediterranean dishes and beverages.

The Nammos Spa, fitness and movement studios, watersports, marine excursions and wellness programmes form the resort’s wellbeing offering. Families can access dedicated children’s experiences and nature-led activities, while butler service is available throughout the stay.

Guests also have access to AMAALA’s wider attractions, including the Corallium marine life institute, Yacht Club, beaches, reefs and cultural experiences. Activities include hiking, biking, running and sailing. AMAALA is planned to run entirely on renewable energy upon completion.

Nammos Hotels & Resorts has further properties in development across Montenegro, the Maldives and Egypt, expanding its resort portfolio beyond the Middle East.

With the opening of Nammos Resort AMAALA, the brand adds a destination resort to its growing global hospitality portfolio.
