Marriott International has appointed Swen Ehlender as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing across The Red Sea and AMAALA, supporting the growth of its luxury portfolio in Saudi Arabia
Swen joins the role with extensive luxury hospitality and commercial experience. Most recently, he was Commercial Director at Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre, where he oversaw sales, marketing, revenue management, reservations, communications and catering.
Originally from Hamburg, Germany, Swen began his hospitality career after completing hotel management studies and has since held leadership roles with international brands including Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, Kerzner International, One&Only Resorts, Atlantis Resorts and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
With experience across Europe, the Middle East and Türkiye, Swen brings expertise in commercial strategy, market positioning, revenue growth and luxury travel. In his new role, he will lead sales and marketing strategy for Marriott International’s luxury portfolio across The Red Sea and AMAALA, focusing on strengthening market presence and driving commercial performance.
