The Ritz-Carlton has appointed Mazen Allam as Area General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh and The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah
The appointment follows Mazen’s successful tenure as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, where he led the property’s operational and commercial performance. In his expanded role, he will oversee both hotels, focusing on guest experience, talent development and business growth.
During his leadership, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh was recognised as one of the top-performing luxury hotels in its market for two consecutive years and earned Forbes Five Star recognition. Mazen has also played a key role in strengthening the hotel’s position in the capital, with a focus on service excellence, cultural authenticity and developing meaningful guest experiences.
Bringing extensive experience across luxury hospitality, operations and commercial strategy, Mazen joined The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh in 2023 following senior leadership roles at Rosewood Jeddah, including Managing Director and General Manager. He is recognised for his focus on team development, operational standards and nurturing Saudi talent.
