W Riyadh – KAFD, part of W Hotels, has opened in Riyadh, marking the brand’s first hotel in the Kingdom.
Located in King Abdullah Financial District, the property is positioned as a lifestyle-led destination that blends hotel stays with dining, wellness and social spaces.
The hotel features 210 rooms, including suites, two penthouses and the W Penthouse, with interiors inspired by Saudi culture and landscape. Materials like stone and marble are paired with geometric patterns referencing Al Sadu weaving, while artwork by Saudi artist Abdulnasser Gharem is featured across public areas. The design balances bold, social spaces with quieter corners for dining and downtime.
Food and beverage sit at the centre of the experience. Sira serves Latin American-inspired dishes cooked over an open flame, Beni offers coffee and ice cream throughout the day, and WET Deck brings a poolside setting with Mediterranean-style bites. A new evening venue, Sahari, will open later this year, focusing on outdoor gatherings and live programming.
The hotel also includes AWAY Spa for treatments, FIT gym facilities, and 15 meeting rooms plus a ballroom, catering to both leisure and business travellers within KAFD.
