Jun’s launches ‘The Short Story’, a six-course tasting menu by Chef Kelvin Cheung that condenses the restaurant’s signature dishes into a more concise yet equally expressive format
The menu opens with Lobster Pani Puri, followed by Watermelon with dry-aged sea bream, tomato water dashi, and wasabi-infused olive oil, and Hot and Sour Wonton Soup, featuring scallop and miniature wontons in a refined broth.
Mains include Wagyu Steak with handmade noodles or the Juicy Lucy Burger, a 200g wagyu patty with molten American cheese, griddled onions, pickles, and jalapeño. Desserts feature Loomi Paleta with a local Emirati twist, Childhood Treat with pu-erh chocolate ganache, Horlicks, and sesame, and Chef Kelvin’s Petit Fours.
‘The Short Story’ distils Jun’s culinary philosophy, balancing technical precision, ingredient-driven dishes, and storytelling.
Priced from AED225, with optional grape or concoction pairings for AED50, it is also offered in a vegetarian version. Visit website.
