TakaHisa to open Ramen Hisa at Dubai Opera this May

At Dubai Opera in Downtown Dubai, TakaHisa will open Ramen Hisa on 7 May 2026, a 28-seat ramen-focused restaurant

The concept brings ramen into a more deliberate dining format, where broth, noodles, and toppings are prepared separately and combined to highlight flavour, texture, temperature, and finish.

Ingredients are sourced from Japan. Noodles change depending on the dish, using either house-made wheat noodles or egg noodles. The house-made version is made with aromatic wheat flour for a firmer bite and fuller flavour, while egg noodles are used when a richer aroma and longer finish are needed.

For seafood ramen, the kitchen uses bluefin tuna from Yamayuki, a specialist tuna supplier in Japan. Beef ramen features Wagyu, Kobe, and Ozaki beef, selected to highlight both marbling and lean depth.

The space is styled like a traditional Japanese home. Guests remove their shoes before entering a tatami-style dining room with floor seating.

Ramen Hisa positions ramen as a structured dish where each element is treated with care, from broth through to the final sip.
