19 new properties by Banyan Group to debut in 2024

The Banyan Tree Group is transforming its corporate umbrella brand, transitioning from “Banyan Tree Group” to “Banyan Group.”

Since 2019, the Group has expanded its brand portfolio, bringing its innovative spirit, design-focused experiences, and mission-driven approach to new destinations such as Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia, Garrya in Kyoto, Folio in Osaka, Japan, Dhawa in Ho Tram, Vietnam, Homm in Huzhou, China, and Banyan Tree Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Heading into 2024, a year of continued growth, Banyan Group plans to open 19 new properties, further solidifying its multi-brand presence. Banyan Group currently manages 12 global brands, overseeing 75 hotels and resorts, more than 60 spas and galleries, and 14 branded residences spread across 22 countries.

In 2024, the expansion will include properties and residences in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Mexico. Key highlights include the debut of Angsana Siem Reap, the first Banyan Tree property in Japan with Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto, and the introduction of new brands in Vietnam and South Korea.

Notable additions to the portfolio include Angsana Quan Lan in Halong Bay, Garrya Mu Chang Chai, Cassia, and Homm Sokcho. Suzhou, located approximately 2 hours away from Shanghai, will feature two complexes with Banyan Tree, Angsana, and Garrya. Additionally, Angsana Tengchong marks the group’s fifth property in the Yunnan province of China, while Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe becomes the first full-fledged Banyan Tree in Mexico, marking the group’s entry into North America.
