The 16th annual Good Food Middle East Magazine Awards 2025 opened with the Indoguna Showdown 2025, introducing a live chef challenge to the awards for the first time.
Four chefs, selected at random from online registrations, were challenged to create burgers in a timed cook-off, kicking off the evening with a high-energy competition.
The showdown was judged by legendary French chef Pierre Koffmann, alongside Karlo Pacheco, CEO of Indoguna; Nicola Monteath, Editor of Good Food Middle East and The Pro Chef Middle East; and Alex Sperxos, Founder of Efzin Group. Using premium produce supplied by Indoguna, the chefs were judged on flavour, creativity and execution.
