Sponsored: COFFEE PLANET UAE closed 2025 with 13 stores, more than 100 employees, over 500,000 drinks served and an expanded presence at major regional events

As the brand marked more than 20 years in the market, its momentum this year was driven by footprint growth, team development and a sharpened focus on scalable food and beverage innovation. The brand grew from nine to 13 coffee shops during the year, with new locations opening at Al Badia, Festival Plaza, Dubai Outlet Mall and the Bank of Fujairah. Two additional stores are currently under construction. To support this growth, COFFEE PLANET more than doubled its team, increasing from just over 50 employees in 2024 to more than 100 by the end of 2025.

Operationally, the brand served more than 500,000 drinks across its UAE locations in 2025. A freshly prepared breakfast menu was introduced to strengthen the morning daypart and support higher average spend through food and beverage pairing.

Customer retention was a key focus with the launch of the COFFEE PLANET Loyalty Program. More than 3,000 customers joined within the first three months.

One of the year’s key brand initiatives was a collaboration with the Hollywood film The Smashing Machine. COFFEE PLANET launched a limited-time range of protein beverages supported by in-store marketing. Strong demand led to selected items remaining on menus beyond the planned campaign period. The brand also participated as a food and beverage partner at the film’s private premiere, providing live sampling and on-site service.

COFFEE PLANET maintained a strong presence at major regional events throughout the year, operating branded trailers and mobile units at Formula 1 Abu Dhabi, Gulfood, Taste of Abu Dhabi, Dubai Marathon, T100 Triathlon, Dubai International Boat Show, Untold Music Festival and the Desert Classic, alongside multiple corporate golf events.

Within the industry, COFFEE PLANET sponsored the Good Food Middle East Awards and The Pro Chef Awards, partnered with the Australian Business Council Gala, and supported a range of golf tournaments. The brand also hosted its own Coffee Beats events, including a Ramadan edition titled Coffee Unites Us. During Ramadan, COFFEE PLANET partnered with Mimojo to support meal distribution initiatives, aligning business activity with community support.

With new stores in the pipeline and continued investment in people, products and experiences, the brand is positioned for continued momentum in the industry.
